Tuftys Pearletta won the Prestige in terrible conditions at Hall Green. The rain was so bad at the Midlands track that the bookies were moved indoors and one race was abandonded due to the hare getting waterlogged.

Also 'waterlogged' was my bet in the final, Directors Chair, who was caught on the line by Laurence Tuffin's bitch. What made things even worse was that I'd looked at Tuftys Pearletta in the ante-post market as she was a bitch coming back from season and had recorded some decent times.
