There's a good looking card at Wimbledon on Saturday with four Derby trail stakes on the supporting card to the Grand National heats.

Hotdog Jack is favourite for the main event and at the 7/2 put up by Victor Chandler he might just be a bit of value. He goes in the second heat with another dog who may well be vying for outright honours, former Irish Grand National winner, Comans Joe. Its a tricky race though with six railers drawn together and I'm going to look for a bit of value elsewhere.

Analyse is an Irish Champion Hurdle winner who has come over the water and is now kennelled with Lorraine Sams. He perhaps lacks a touch of early but is a strong running sort who is open to further improvement over the obstacles. He's been given a good draw in heat five and looks worth a bet at the generally available 12/1.

An outsider worth a mention is Jason Foster's son of Spiral Nikita, Smooth Turbo. He's got some reasonable form at Wimbledon and his early pace will be an asset here.

Bets 6 points each way Analyse at 12/1, 1 point each way Smooth Turbo at 50/1.
