A couple of horses catch my eye today and could be worth a punt.
In Ascot's "getting out stakes" (17:45) the promising Cheveton looks a worthy favourite. He's a short enough price though at 5/4 for a handicap and there's plenty of each way alternatives. The one I'm going to row in with is Mick Channon's Malapropism who has won off a higher mark than todays, has a decent draw and is a fair price at the 14/1 put up by Sporting Bet.
Up at Hamilton tonight Rothesay Dancer can go well in the 20:15 for claimer Kelly Harrison. Jim Goldie's mare is in good form and has won over course and distance a couple of times before. She looks a touch overpriced at 4/1 with William Hill and that price is worth taking.
